A Day In The Life Of…

A day in the Life of a 10 year old

Today I was sick. Mummy came to pick me up from school. She took me to the doctors. The doctor gave me pink medicine. It tasted quite sweet. Mummy cooked porridge for me. I lay in bed and she fed me the porridge. After that I took my medicine. Then I went to sleep.

I like being sick. Because I won’t have to go to school. Maybe I’ll still have a fee-ver tomorrow. Then Mummy will let me stay at home. And I won’t have to do home work.

A Day in the Life of a 20 year old

Woke up feeling shitty today, but still I went to school. I mean what what if the professor gives a quiz? I’ll just die. No participation marks no quiz marks. Freak. Dragged myself out of bed. Freezing cold water. Freezing cold weather.

Luckily I went cuz he really gave a quiz. Dragged myself all the way back to hall. Plonked myself on the bed. Slept. Waited for bf to come back. Bf didn’t care. Freak. Cooked cup noodles. Wished I was home. Back to bed.

A Day in the Life of a 30 year old

Woke up today feeling warm all over. Darn that means an MC. That means work piling up in office. NO! Theres that important meeting with MD today. Must go. Drag myself outta bed. Rush to office in a cab. Popped in two panadols. Dishrivelled. Crumpled. Harrassed. Red Nosed.

Phew. Pulled off meeting with MD. Head spinning. Time to go see a doctor. Rushed down during lunch break. Doctor gave two day MC but too much work on desk. No choice. Must clear backlog. Force myself to sit at the desk.

8pm. Stomach growling. Concussed. Take a cab back home. Pop another two panadols. Collaspe on bed. Fleeting thought: I want to be a 10 year old who still has a mummy to cook porridge for me.
